Welcome to American Nuclear Steel.
We're integrating Small Modular Reactors with Electric Arc Furnaces and advanced metallurgy processes to create the first independent, zero-carbon steel manufacturing system - enabling true American industrial independence.
U.S. steel manufacturing is trapped in the 1970s.
Outdated blast furnaces still dominate many facilities, and roughly 70% have transitioned to electric arc furnaces. Even these modernized operations face a critical constraint: our aging power grid cannot deliver the consistent, high-voltage electricity needed to reach temperatures required for premium steel production. As a result, many furnaces operate below capacity to prevent grid failures.
Most U.S. mills now process scrap metal rather than iron ore, producing lower-grade steel unsuitable for advanced construction and critical infrastructure. The capability gap is reflected in trade figures: in 2024, America imported 28.9 million net tons of steel—23% of its total consumption—not by choice, but by necessity.
Once-thriving steel towns now stand empty. Most critically, we've lost decades of accumulated expertise - knowledge and skills that once made American steel the global standard have vanished with each passing generation. Our limited high-grade steel production constrains everything from naval shipbuilding to space exploration, threatening both our national security and our leadership in humanity's greatest endeavors.
The core issue is power - our aging grid systems simply cannot support modern steelmaking.
The path to American industrial revival runs through power generation.
Manufacturing - especially steel production - demands massive, reliable clean energy that our current grid cannot provide. Through extensive validation with manufacturers, defense contractors, and industry experts, one truth emerges consistently: America's industrial future depends on energy independence. The solution must be powerful enough to drive heavy industry, reliable enough to operate continuously, and independent enough to break free from aging infrastructure.
Nuclear is the way forward.
